I am currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher in the Geotechnical Engineering Division, Department of Civil Engineering, at IIT Madras under the supervision of Dr.D.N.Arnepalli. My doctoral thesis focused on the development and performance evaluation of in-situ polymerized bentonite for barrier applications.
Dr. D. N. ARNEPALLI
Dr. Arnepalli is a Professor in the Civil Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Madras since December 2008. Before joining IIT Madras, he was associated with Prof. R. Kerry Rowe's research group at Geo-Engineering Centre, Queen's University, Ontario, Canada, for three years. He authored about 70 technical research publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and conferences. He is also a technical committee member of reputed international conferences and an active reviewer for many
peer-reviewed international journals. He has developed a state-of-the-art Geoenvironmental Engineering Research Laboratory at IIT Madras and it houses many sophisticated facilities.
